International artist Neta Elkayam brings her North African Jewish heritage to the world of jazz with a new band, led by the musical vision of Amit Hai Cohen. Now based in New Orleans, they seamlessly blend Andalusian and Amazigh melodies with the city’s rich jazz traditions, creating a fresh and unique musical fusion.

This dynamic band features local talents like Martin Masakowski on bass and Trenton O'Neal on drums, both deeply connected to the city’s rich musical traditions. Chloe White, a soprano saxophonist from North Carolina, brings a passion for hard bop and old-time. Musician and artist Amit Hai Cohen, who has spent the past decade working along the Jerusalem-Morocco axis, adds his unique style on piano and distinct musical vision. Together, they transcend cultural boundaries and musical eras, infusing every note with rhythm, story, and soul.​​​

As a multidisciplinary artist, Neta has gained global recognition for her captivating North African sounds. She has performed at renowned festivals, including the Essaouira Music Festival, the Marrakech International Film Festival, the Krakow Jewish Festival, and the IMA in Paris. Her remarkable talent has garnered several accolades, such as the ACUM Music Prize, the Pomegranate NYC Award, and the Moroccan Trophées MDM for her work in promoting the Moroccan Jewish voice around the world.
